Mrs. Cynthia Megelich
Hello Bryan Road families! My name is Cindy Megelich, and I am very excited to join the Bryan Road crew this year. I have been involved in public education for 38 years. I have a degree in elementary education from FAU in Boca Raton, FL, and a masters in reading education from TWU in Denton, TX. I have taught elementary school in South Carolina, Florida, and Texas. I retired from teaching in Texas when I moved here to NC three years ago. I began substitute teaching, and soon realized that the only place I wanted to be is Bryan Road.
I have been married for 38 years, have two grown children, and one small dog who lives to play fetch. My husband and I were thrilled to welcome our first grandbaby last year. I never imagined being a grandparent could be this great!
When not in the classroom, I enjoy cooking, reading, exercising, and most recently babysitting! My family enjoys hiking, boating, and traveling.
I believe that students must feel comfortable in a learning environment to learn and grow. Therefore, I strive to have a positive, warm classroom.
