Ahoy Mateys!

 My name is Katherine Walton and I am proud to be a native of North Carolina. I have been teaching in Wake County for over 25 years and I'm an original crew member here at BRES! I love calling Garner home along with my husband Kevin, son Ben and two dogs, Bella and Bear. 

 When I am not at school I enjoy traveling to new places, shopping, being with family and friends and reading. 

I have a true passion for education and second grade is my favorite! I cannot wait to welcome you into our beautiful classroom where learning is active, engaging and fun!
