Hi everyone, my name is Jamie Oxtoby and I am excited to join the Bryan Road team as a 5^th grade teacher. I am originally from England and married my NC native wife in 2017, and we have been living in Garner since 2019. I have a degree in Graphic Design, and this was my previous role before I became a teacher. 

 

When I am not in school, I am spending time with my wife Allie, my two-year-old, Jack and our Husky named Zizou. We love hiking, canoeing, cycling and playing tennis. We also love to travel, and we have visited and lived in several countries but are now very settled in our Garner home. 

 

I have loved teaching since I made the switch, and I am excited to share my experiences with my students and have some fun in the classroom.
