Hello, My name is Olivia Watson and I joined the Bryan Road First Grade Crew in February 2024.

I was born in Puerto Rico, then moved to Connecticut, then my family moved to our forever home in Raleigh. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from East Carolina University in 2023, and will be furthering my education at East Carolina’s Online University in January 2025. I student-taught in the Second Grade in Greenville, and loved every second of it. When I got the opportunity to teach First Grade at Bryan Road, I was over the moon. I truly believe that children can do ANYTHING they put their mind to with constant love and support. I always want to create a safe and nurturing space for my students. Being a teacher has given me the opportunity to help students grow in confidence, knowledge, friendships, and social emotional skills. I am truly grateful to be able to share this passion. 

When I take my “teacher hat” off you can find me lounging at the beach, shopping at Target, volunteering at my church, or drinking Starbucks. I have a passion for gardening and traveling the world, learning about different cultures. I also love to spend time outside with my two dogs, Missy and Stella, then coming inside to read a good book with my cat, Blue.
