My name is Kendra Nicholson and I am so excited to be a part of the Bryan Road family! I grew up in the Rochester/Buffalo NY area (Go Bills!) and received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Niagara University. 

 

I taught 2nd grade for three years in Fayetteville, NC, then 1st grade for two years in Springfield, MA, and I’ve been happily teaching 1st grade here at Bryan Road ever since!

 

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Matt, and our daughter, Avery, watching our favorite sports teams, reading a good book outside in the sun, or spending time at Target and TJ Maxx with an iced coffee in hand!

 

I absolutely love teaching firsties here at Bryan Road! I aim to create a classroom atmosphere that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning, laughter, and growth in our first-grade classroom!
