Percentage of graduates attending a North Carolina community college without having to take remedial coursework

  • While North Carolina community colleges enroll many high school graduates each year, not all students enter the community college system ready to learn at that level.  Students who do not meet certain criteria have to take remedial classes once they enter community college before they can begin earning credits toward their degree.  The data below show the percentage of students graduating from WCPSS high schools who are qualified academically to enter the NC community college system without needing remedial coursework.
