Who takes this exam: All 11th grade students
UPDATED ACT INFORMATION – RESUMING TESTING
Due to major technology issues with the ACT testing network, we had to suspend testing on March 11. Most students did not finish the ACT. Students who started but were not able to finish the ACT on March 11th will be allowed to resume testing from where they stopped on Wednesday, 3/19.
On 3/19, we will follow the following schedule:- 4th Period: 7:25-8:55
- 2nd Period: 9:00-10:33
- 3rd Period/Lunch as usual: 10:38-12:43
- 1st Period: 12:48-2:18
Students who did not sit for the ACT on March 11 will be expected to complete the ACT makeup on 3/25.

CLASS OF 2025 - SAT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS AT UNC COLLEGES
The Univeristy of North Carolina System's (17 in-state colleges) new requirement for students applying to enter any UNC colleges in the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 semester is below.
- Minimum weighted GPA of 2.5
- Testing: Students with a weighted high school GPA greater than or equal to 2.50 and less than 2.80 are required to submit a standardized test score (ACT or SAT)
