The Pre-ACT is a standardized, curriculum-based, multiple-choice achievement test that includes four areas: English, mathematics, reading and science, reported on the same scale as the ACT. All sections are completed during one test session.

At Sanderson, the PreACT will be given to all 10th graders on Tuesday, November 9th, beginning at 7:25am. Students will receive information through their homeroom as we get closer to the testing date. Students do not need to register as this is a required state exam.

Virtual Academy students are required to participate and should make plans to arrive at school by 7:25am and will be dismissed around 11:00am.
The makeup date for students who miss the test will be on Wednesday, November 10th at 7:25am in the Media Center.

Calculators are not provided. Students can complete the math exam without a calculator. If you want to use a calculator, please refer to the ACT website for approved calculators: https://www.act.org/content/dam/act/unsecured/documents/ACT-calculator-policy.pdf
