Sanderson will administer the PSAT/NMSQT on October 9, 2024. Click here to register. Registration closes on September 15 at 11:59 PM. No late registrations will be accepted.  The PSAT/NMSQT contains items with Algebra I and some Geometry concepts, so if students have not completed Math I, they may be better served to take it in a future year.  While all high school students can register to take the PSAT/NMSQT, the district will only pay for 11th grade students who are likely to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.  Any other students interested in taking the PSAT/NMSQT can pay $15.30 to take the assessment.  The district will pay for the administration of current WCPSS 11th grade students who have a GPA in the top 10% of the district (4.375 or higher).  Eleventh grade students with a GPA below the cutoff who want to participate will pay the exam fee.
