In an effort to continue supporting our students, families and educators, WCPSS is promoting our first series of wellness and self-care sessions for students and families.
Session #1 Restorative Practice and Circles
Supporting educators, parents, and caretakers by exploring Restorative Practice and Community-Building Circles.
This opportunity is designed to expose you to one of the tools of Restorative Practices, the Circle Process. The Circle is a facilitated dialogue process that is INVITATIONAL. It allows participants to share openly and encourages connections and deepening relationships. This training is inclusive to all who have an interest in learning ways to better support children and families during these uncertain times through authentic connections.

Session #2 Community Resiliency Model
This session is designed to share tools you can learn to help yourself and others during times of stress. This session is inclusive to all whom have an interest in learning the skills to better support children and families during these uncertain times.

Virtual Parent Sessions - Dec. 2-9
We are pleased to be working with the National Center for Youth Issues to provide WCPSS parents with a special series of live, one-hour chat sessions with national level experts to discuss the challenges and opportunities of virtual learning, and to offer strategies, solutions, and encouragement to help our students and their families thrive during these most unusual of times.

The hard launch date is set for September 17th and will run through December. We have a lofty goal of $25,000 this year! With the new pandemic-reality, the Sanderson PTO is having to get creative with how our programs will be run, so please, donate what you can.

Don't forget to Contact the Help Desk if you are having technology issues. Remember to leave good contact information and as much detail about your technology issue as possible.
Click on Destiny inside of your WakeID portal to access the library catalog and search for books. If you find one you are interested in write down the title and author and *FILL OUT THIS FORM! (You must be signed into your WakeID to complete this form)
Your librarians will then be in contact with you with details about how to pick up.
