    STUDENT RUSH - Oct. 11 at 7:00 PM. WCPSS students $5 cash at the door (must have ID badge).

  • SIGNS OF SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAM (SOS)

    SOS lessons will be offered in Freshman Healthful Living classes on the following dates:

    • Wednesday, October 11
    • Wednesday, October 25
    • Thursday October 26

    All information about the lessons can be found here: Signs of Suicide Prevention Program (SOS)  

    Parent letters have been sent home; you may opt your child out of the presentation by returning the signed SOS letter.

  • GOVERNOR’S SCHOOL 2023 APPLICATIONS

    Application Period Oct. 2 through Oct. 30 

    Calling 11th graders in English, Spanish, Mathematics, Natural Science, Social Science, Choral Music, Instrumental Music, Dance, Theater, and Visual Art disciplines and only 10th graders in the following disciplines Dance, Choral Music, and Instrumental Music to apply to the NC Governor’s School, a four-week summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students.

    Informational Sessions for students interested will be held on Friday, Sept. 29 from 7 am – 7:25 am and 2:25 pm – 2:50 pm in Room 106. Students may choose one session to attend.
