SENIOR NIGHT PRESENTATION

SCHEDULE CHANGE INFORMATION

  • Attention Seniors applying to 4-yr colleges & wanting a schedule change:

Most 4-yr. colleges take course rigor into consideration in admission decisions. Many colleges offer a decision of "waitlist" or "deferred". Colleges maintain expectations that senior year course rigor and academic performance will remain consistent or better than past semesters.
For example: UNC-Chapel Hill has released a statement for the spring semester instructing students who are making a schedule change and have already applied to Carolina to submit a schedule change form via their MyCarolina account. UNC emphasizes that "academic rigor is an important factor in our review, and we want to be sure that the coursework information we have from students is up-to-date."
Please take the above info into consideration before submitting a course correction request. Only requests that meet the conditions found here will be considered. Students are responsible for notifying their colleges of changes to their schedule.
