    WITHDRAWALS 

    If you are receiving this newsletter, you are currently enrolled at Sanderson High School for the 25-26 school yearIf you do not plan to attend Sanderson (or any other WCPSS school), a parent/guardian needs to come to Sanderson to complete the withdrawal processPlease bring a photo ID, your student’s district-issued laptop with the charger, and the information for the school where your student plans to enroll. 

     

    PARENT ACCOUNTS 

    Information on how to create a parent account will be emailed directly from WCPSSYou will receive an email from SIS-Notifications@wcpss.net with instructions on how to create your account.  Please check your spam/junk folder for this emailThey will be sent weekly until you configure your accountWhen you log in you will not be able to view anything yet. 

     

    STUDENT ACCOUNTS 

    • Returning WCPSS students – from the WakeID Portal, you’ll click on “Homebase” and then select “NCSIS - PSU 920”You will not be able to view anything yet. 

    • New to WCPSS students - Instructions on Accessing WakeID are linked here.  The first time a student logs in, the password is their student ID number. They will be prompted to create a new password after the initial login.  After you’ve logged in, from the WakeID Portal, you’ll click on “Homebase” and then select “NCSIS - PSU 920”You will not be able to view anything yet. 

     

    25-26 CLASS SCHEDULES 

    Due to the transition to Infinite Campus, we have not had access to student schedules since mid-MayThroughout July & August, we’ll review schedulesIn early August, we’ll share information about how to view schedules and how to request a course correction. 

     

    SCHOOL WIDE UPDATES 

     

    SUMMER OFFICE HOURS 

    The main office will be open from 7:30-2:30 Monday – Friday, with a few exceptions due to facility projects, etc. Most questions can be answered on our websitePlease call the school if you need information that is not available online. 

     

    ADVANCED PLACEMENT SUMMER ASSIGNMENTS 

    Information regarding AP summer assignments can be found on our website.  If your student registered for an AP course for 25-26, have them review this link prior to the start of school in August. 

     

    NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION 

    New Student Orientation will be on Wednesday, August 13 from 10am-12pm.  Please go to our website for more information and the link to register for this event.

    2025 SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION 

    • Summer school began on July 7 

    • Priority seating will be determined by a student's grade level and previous attendance/progress in the course.

    CLASS OF 2026 PARENTS 

    Please consider helping with the Senior Celebrations and Events for our students. It is a fun way to be involved with and celebrate their senior year! Many spots are still open. The most urgent needs are Senior Breakfast Chairs and other Breakfast and Caravan volunteers. These positions start immediately or very soon. Sign up HERE!

    CLASS OF 2026 SENIOR PORTRAITS 

    Book your appointment by July 1: We are pleased to announce our partnership with CADY for Senior Portraits. Thank you to those families who have already signed up for their photo session! Students who sign up by July 1 will be entered into a raffle to win a free Senior Session at their studio and a digital package!
