Mrs. Tiffany Stuart, Principal
I started my career in education over 25 years ago. I have enjoyed teaching high school Social Studies and History at the high school level, working as a middle school Assistant Principal, and leading the development of curriculum at the central office level. I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in History and my Master’s of School Administration in Educational Leadership and Cultural Foundations at UNC-Greensboro. As a student growing up, I had the great fortune to have many wonderful and inspiring teachers. It was my high school French teacher, however, who influenced me to become an educator.
As I enter my tenth year as the Principal at Aversboro, I am excited about the opportunities to continue working with our students, families, and community supporters.
When I’m away from school, I love to spend time with my husband, Brad, our two children, Abigail and Whit, and our sweet lab, Bear. In my spare time I read, travel, and enjoy the outdoors. The beach and the mountains are my favorite vacation destinations!

Ms. Sierra Wooden, Assistant Principal
Hello Aversboro Community! It is with great honor that I have been afforded the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Principal here at Aversboro for the past 4 years. My journey as an educator began here in Wake County where I've previously served as a 2nd and 3rd grade teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University, GO PIRATES! I continued my education and earned my Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership from Queens University of Charlotte. I have a great passion for ensuring that all students have equitable access to the education they deserve. I proudly advocate for the needs of my students and will go above and beyond to support my staff! I challenge us to make sure that there is no resource left underutilized in the effort to meet the needs of all students. Together, this can and will be done. Thank you for all that you have, are, and will do for Aversboro Elementary School. I look forward to partnering with you, to uphold the belief of #EveryStudentEveryDay.
