• In partnership with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, a food pantry for our Athens Drive community is available!

    Please use this form to place an order. Your information will be kept confidential, and your order number and pick-up instructions will be sent via email. Families are able to access the pantry up to twice per month. Please know that inventory is subject to availability, and we will do our best to supply all of your requests!

    DHHS is rolling out a new program starting this summer called Sun Bucks, where eligible families will have access to additional EBT funds to purchase groceries over the summer months. Eligible families will receive $120/per child in a one-time payment. 
     
    Eligible Families: 
    • Free or Reduced-Price meals at school because they meet the FRP program income threshold, or
    • Food and Nutrition Services (FNS, food stamps), or
    • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF, Work First, cash assistance), or
    • Medicaid and household income below 185% of the federal poverty level.
