Student Services Staff
What does a School Counselor Do?
We listen. We teach. We advocate. We care. And we support students holistically in ways no one else can.
School counselors help reduce obstacles preventing students from reaching their potential. Above all, we arm students with the skills, strategies and support they need to build the foundation for a successful and productive life.
How do I make an appointment with my School Counselor?
During remote learning and for Virtual Academy students, counselors are available via email, 7:30am-2:45pm. Phone and Google Meet appointments can be made by clicking on your counselors name below!
During in-person learning, students can come by the Student Services office before school, during lunch, or after school to sign up for an appointment. If you have an urgent need to talk to your counselor, let Student Services staff member, Ms. Allmon know immediately. You can also email your counselor using your Wake County Student Email address if you have a question that does not require a face to-face meeting.
