Student Registration Schedule
- All Students will receive registration information the week of February 3, 2025
- 11th-Grade: Individual meetings with counselors will be held from February 10-28
- 10th-Grade: Small group meetings with counselors will be held from March 3-13
- 9th-Grade: Small group meetings with counselors will be held from March 17-28

What Courses Should Students Select?
- 9th Grade - English, II, Biology, Civic Literacy, a Math Course
- 10th Grade - English III, a Physical Science, American History, a Math Course
- 11th Grade - English IV, Economics & Personal Finance, a Math Course

Early 3-Year Graduation Information
- Must be 16 years of age by their 3rd year in high school to be eligible
- Must be on track to meet the minimum NC graduation requirements of 22 credits
- Will NOT participate in “senior Activities” due to their non-senior classification
- Will participate in graduation
- Students cannot return for a 4th year after they have programs through the 3-year graduate option
- The application must be submitted to the student’s counselor
- If the student meets the requirements, the administration and the counselor with meet with the student and parent/guardians to finalize the application process

Mid-Year Graduation
Students who meet the graduation requirements, and are requesting to graduate in January of 2026, must submit an application to their counselor for review

Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
Advanced Placement (AP) Courses are designed to match the content of entry-level college courses. This curriculum and its purpose is to prepare students for the exams administered in May. Visit the EWMHS Advanced Placement webpage for more information.
