Animal Protection and Treatment Awareness (APTA) Club
Animal Protection and Treatment Awareness (APTA) Club
APTA is a student-run group that focuses on bringing to light the atrocities many animals face today and finding ways to contribute to the mitigation of their abuse. We discuss the numerous different animal rights campaigns taking place-- as well as the laws being developed in order to achieve their protection and to create ethical standards for humane treatment. One of our goals is to contribute to the organizations that help to provide shelter and partake in rescue operations that help to save lives-- in any way we can. We can do this by bringing awareness to these issues in our school community and by hosting discussions outside of club meetings about how we can help.
