Hello Eagles! My name is Cynthia Alejandro-Garcia, and I am excited to be a part of the VSE family. I was born and raised in NY and moved to NC with my husband in 2022. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from New York University and a Master's Degree from Hunter College, both in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I am passionate about teaching and have taught Grades K-4 throughout my 30+ years in the classroom. I have two daughters, Jessie and Jillian, and two future sons-in-law!!! I love the theater, playing pickle ball and spending time with family and friends. 

I am looking forward to a successful year at Vandora Springs. First Grade is #1!!! 🙂
