Hello! My name is Dalmas Sitoki, and I’m thrilled to join the Vandora Springs Elementary School family as a 4th grade teacher.

Originally from Kenya, I look forward to sharing more about my beautiful homeland with you throughout our time together at VSE! My journey in education began shortly after high school in 2000 as a teaching assistant, and I became a certified elementary school teacher in 2004. Since then, teaching has been my lifelong passion.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching not only in Kenya but also in Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Seychelles, and Uganda. These international experiences have greatly enriched my perspective and teaching approach.

Working with children is what inspires me most. I cherish the opportunity to create lasting memories, foster growth, and make each day meaningful for my students and for myself as their mentor. I’m truly excited to meet all of you and begin an amazing school year together!

Outside the classroom, I love spending time with my family, my wonderful wife, and our energetic 8 year-old son. We’re all excited about our new adventure in North Carolina! In my free time, I enjoy playing piano, table tennis, going for runs, reading, and exploring different cultures and ways of life.

I’m truly excited to join the incredible team at Vandora Springs Elementary School and can’t wait to begin this exciting journey together!
