Hello Eagles! I am elated to join Vandora Springs Elementary for the 2025-2026 school year! I moved to Raleigh at the end of 2019. I was born and raised in beautiful Lake Peekskill, New York. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Buffalo State College. After college, I served a year of national service-traveling throughout the country with Americorps National Civilian Community Corps. That defining experience inspired me to go into the field of education. I then attained my Master of Science in Childhood Education from Hunter College in New York, New York.

Previously, I worked as a teacher and substitute for the Department of Education in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. I have also had the pleasure of working as a teacher and tutor in special education in North Carolina public and private schools. I am absolutely thrilled to help children make gains according to his or her fullest potential.

In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with family & friends, fiancé Jason, and my adorable blood hound. I love baking, cooking, hiking, traveling, and snorkeling.
