Mr. Costa Constantinou

🎵Hi Eagle Families, 🎭

Meet Mr C. Music Teacher, the Maestro of Young Musicians and Future Broadway Stars!

I was raised in Greensboro, North Carolina in a very Greek home, by two loving parents from Greece, whose heritage and support helped shape a lifelong passion for music and teaching. After beginning my career with two life-learning years of teaching in Reidsville, NC, I embarked on an incredible journey overseas, teaching for 32 years with the Department of Defense Schools. For the last decade, I have continued sharing my love of music in North Carolina public schools.

For 45 magical years, I have been filling music classrooms with the joy of music, guiding little hands to clap, tap, strum, and sing and dance their way into a lifelong love of melody. A true global educator, I have lived and taught all over the world, sharing the universal language of music and theater with children from every corner of the globe.

Armed with a Master’s degree from Trenton State College and an MFA in Children’s Musical Theater from Columbia University/NYU, I have turned classrooms into stages, inspiring countless young performers to find their spotlight.

For the past 25 years, I have proudly launched a Broadway Junior Club in every school they have called home. These clubs have given students the thrill of performing full-scale musicals designed for young actors—and nothing makes me happier than seeing the stage come alive with excited, talented kids. This year, the dream continues, and I hope to see as many students as possible to join in this amazing musical adventure!

When not creating mini-maestros and rising stars, I can be found in my church, directing choirs of all ages, or at my sewing machine and embroidery machine with my sweet cat Niko, making heirlooms or I’m in New York on the weekends seeing theater, or I am simply enjoying the sweet symphony of a life dedicated to faith, harmony, creativity, and joy.

I cannot wait to meet each and everyone, especially at concerts or just stopping by the music classroom to see what your child is learning in music.

Yours in Music, 🎶

Mr.”C”
