Hey Eagle Families! I have worked for the Wake County Public School System since 1991. I taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and intervention before becoming a media coordinator in 2007. I attended Vandora Springs Elementary as a student from kindergarten through 5th grade,and I have been the media coordinator at Vandora since 2012.

I have an identical twin sister who is also a teacher. I have two daughters, Macey and Marlee. Macey teaches 5th grade at Vandora and Marlee is attending ECU to become a teacher. We are huge NCSU Wolfpack fans and enjoy watching them play football and basketball. We also have a very spoiled Labradoodle named Ellie Mae. 

I received my B.S. in education from Campbell University and my M.S.L. from NC Central. I am also National Board Certified in Media K - 12.
