Ms. Beverly Harrison, Instructional Assistant

Beverly Harrison is the Instructional Assistant for Pre-K at Green Leadership & World Languages Magnet Elementary. A retired teacher from New Jersey, she brings over 40 years of experience in education. Her diverse background has given her the opportunity to work with students of all types and abilities. Beverly returned to the classroom not out of boredom, but because she missed the joy of teaching—especially seeing children’s smiles when they begin recognizing the letters in their names, counting, and identifying numbers 1–10. Outside of school, Beverly enjoys spending time with her family, including her grandchildren, relatives, and close friends. She also enjoys walking, bowling, reading, playing Family Feud (both the TV show and board game), and watching movies—particularly those starring Denzel Washington and, more recently, Michael B. Jordan.
