Mrs. Samantha Baak Wanstedt, Teacher

Mrs. Baak is a 3rd grade teacher at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary School, where she has been proud to teach for the past five years. With a little over a decade of experience in education, she has taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade and brings a passion for lifelong learning into her classroom. Originally from Colorado, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Colorado State University and holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is continuously inspired by the compassion, growth, and resilience of the students she has the privilege to teach each day. When she’s not teaching, Mrs. Baak loves to recharge by spending time outdoors. Some of her favorite activities include hiking, skiing, and exploring with her husband and their two dogs.

B.S. General Biology

Ms. Myainya Daniels, Teacher

Myainya Daniels is a 3rd grade teacher at Green Elementary. She earned her B.S. in General Biology from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and completed the Teacher Licensure Program at the University of Mount Olive. Before joining Public Schools, she worked as an outdoor educator in Hendersonville, NC, where she developed a love for hands-on learning experiences. Her passion for teaching comes from wanting every child to feel valued, supported, and excited to learn. Ms. Daniels is excited to welcome and connect with new students and families this year. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys cooking, baking, exploring new music and attending concerts, and spending quality time with her nephew.

Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University

Ms. Avery Rubinstein, Teacher

Ms. Rubinstein is a 3rd grade teacher at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. She is originally from California and earned her degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. Before teaching at Green, she taught English abroad in Italy and Thailand, combining her love of teaching and traveling. Outside of the classroom, she spends her time reading, running, and hanging out with her family and dog, Arrow.

Mrs. Elizabeth Rudolph-Malcolm, Teacher

Elizabeth Rudolph-Malcolm is an elementary school teacher who recently moved here from Jamaica to join the family at Green Magnet. Growing up as the only child of a teacher was one of the catalysts that propelled her into teaching and has kept her enjoying it for twenty-seven years. Elizabeth's love for children made it easy for her to stay dedicated to the system, educating students from ages six through eight. She demonstrates proficient skills in classroom management and leadership. As a third grade teacher, one of her primary goals is to improve herself professionally so she can impact her students' learning in such a way that they become future leaders. Elizabeth is inspired by her family and is passionate about music, travel and reading.
