Ms. Doris Nino, Office Receptionist

Ms. Nino is in her second year as a receptionist at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. She studied Business Administration in her home country of Guatemala and has been working in the field since graduating college. She enjoys supporting the school community by ensuring that families, staff, and students feel welcomed and assisted. Before joining Green, she gained valuable experience in administrative roles that strengthened her organizational and communication skills. She is passionate about creating a positive and efficient environment where everyone feels cared for. Inspired by her love of learning and helping others, she believes in the importance of building strong connections within the school community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring new places, and staying active.

Ms. Destany Perez, Lead Secretary

Destany Perez is the Lead Secretary at Green Magnet Leadership and World Languages, where she is known for her professionalism, warmth and dedication to students, staff and families. She began her career in education as a school receptionist, where she developed a deep passion for creating a welcoming and supportive school environment. Destany has a strong personal connection to leadership and believes it begins with service, empathy and leading by example. Her commitment to education is rooted in a genuine love for children and a belief in the power of community to shape future leaders. Outside of work, Destany enjoys spending quality time with her family, which keeps her grounded and reminds her daily of the importance of love, support and connection.

Ms. Myra Barr, Data Manager

Ms. Barr is the Student Information Data Manager at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. She earned her degree from Ultimate Medical Academy and is committed to ensuring that all families and students receive consistent and equitable treatment. Before joining Green Elementary, Ms. Barr worked for the Sumter School District in Sumter, South Carolina, where she served as a Substitute Teacher, STEAM Paraprofessional, and Systems Administrator. She is inspired by the opportunity to provide high-quality service to teachers, families, and community members.

Outside of school, Ms. Barr enjoys quiet walks in the park, spending time with her children, and watching movies.
