Hello! My name is Aurelia Hawes! I'm a native of Wilmington, NC. I moved to the RTP area to attend college at the illustrious North Carolina Central University, where I obtained my Bachelors in Child Development and Family Relations. I have a younger sister, and a Yorkie named Roscoe. I joined the Green family in August of 2018, and have been home ever since. This will be my third year teaching 2nd grade, and I am extremely excited about what's to come!!

Hello! My name is Jeané Rowell. I am returning for my 3rd year here at Green, 10th year of teaching. I am a National Board Certified Teacher! I enjoy hanging with my family and friends, singing, and creative projects. My favorite pastime is reading. I am so excited to meet all of my students and families and welcome them to our classroom!

Mrs. Morgann Shively, Teacher
Mrs. Morgann Shively is excited for another great school year at Green Leadership and World Languages Magnet Elementary. Originally from Jacksonville, NC, she graduated as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career in New Bern, where she taught for three years before returning home to Onslow County, where she taught for six years. This is her third year at Green and her twelfth year in education. While she is somewhat new to the area, she brings a wealth of teaching experience. Mrs. Shively has a creative heart and enjoys singing, dancing, and acting. Her favorite things are Jesus and sweet tea, and she is eager to see all that this school year will bring. 🙂

Hello! I'm Ms. Winnix and I'm so excited to return to Green this year! This is my 3rd year in 2nd grade. I've been in various roles in education for 8 years. I'm originally from Greensboro, NC. I moved to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State University (GO PACK) and fell in love with this city! Outside of school, I enjoy working out, anything related to music, traveling to try new foods, and watching movies with my Chihuahua Uno. I love to shop and do brain puzzles too! I'm excited for another year with Green! ❤️
