I was born and raised in Raleigh and spent my childhood growing up around schools and teachers (my mom was a principal). I have always enjoyed working with children and teaching is one of my passions. I am also an animal lover, my pet turtle Steve and dog Benji are my babies, I enjoy spending time with family, going for walks with my dogs, and spending time at the beach. I completed my student teaching at Green and have been teaching here ever since. I love the Green family and feel very fortunate to be working in such a wonderful community with awesome teachers and terrific families!

I’m from Raleigh, NC, and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). I have an older brother named Eric and a daughter named Kennedi. Although this is my first official year of teaching, I have extensive experience with tutoring, babysitting, and working in a daycare. I enjoy cooking, traveling, shopping, listening to and dancing to music, spending time with family and friends, watching new movies and shows, and trying new foods and activities.

Hi! I am Kayleigh-Scarlett Hopper. I am so excited for this school year! I have been at Green since 2019 in first grade. I love being apart of the Green Family! I grew up in Cherryville, NC with my parents and my two younger siblings. I moved from my small hometown to Raleigh in 2014 to attend college at NC State. GO PACK! I loved Raleigh and NC State so much I decided to prolong my studies for another year to obtain a Master's degree in K-12 Reading. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in Kindergarten! On a personal note, I am a big fan of Dolly Parton, NC State sports, traveling, reading, movies, and anything Disney-related, especially Cinderella.

My name is Toni Kelley and I have been a teacher at Green almost 27 years. I received my teaching degree from Ball State University and later received my masters degree from California State University-San Bernardino. I have taught first grade for most of my teaching career, but started off as a kindergarten teacher. I grew up all over Indiana and lived in California for 6 years. I live in Raleigh with my husband Kevin and have two grown children, Ravelle and Brendan, who both attended Green Elementary. This is a great school to learn and grow! When I am not teaching I enjoy sewing, traveling, going to the beach, and spending time with family. I'm looking for another great year at Green!

I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University and a current graduate student at North Carolina A&T. Apart from my studies, I am a mother of one boy, Julien. This is my 3rd year teaching for Wake County, but my first year at Green. I am excited to be part of this great school and working with such outstanding students.

My name is Johnna Elstob. I am excited to be back to Green for my third year! I love being part of the Green Family! I enjoy painting,drawing,walking and reading in my free time. I live in Raleigh with my husband Mike and my son Ryan. I also have an adult daughter Hannah who lives in Wilmington and a son Jack who recently graduated college and moved to Honolulu!

Hello! I’m Jasmin, an instructional assistant here at Green. Originally from New Jersey, I moved to North Carolina in 2008. I have two wonderful children, Elias (7) and Malia (2). I’m currently attending ECU—Go Pirates! In my free time, I love reading a good book and traveling with my family. I’m excited for an amazing year ahead and look forward to meeting new families!

I have lived in the Raleigh area most of my life. My favorite hobbies include sewing/quilting, cooking, and crafting with gourds. I live with my 2 cats whom I love dearly. I recently moved to a new home in Clayton, NC. I am excited to return to Green ES for my 23rd year!
