Ashley Jennings, Student Information Data Manager
Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, Mrs. Jennings graduated from Edinburgh University with a B.Ed. in Elementary Education. She taught K1-5 for 9 years in Scotland and England, and had experience being coordinator of various subjects including Math, Literacy and P.E.. Mrs. Jennings then became Literacy coordinator for the East Riding of Yorkshire before accepting an administrative roll.
Upon moving stateside, she worked as a substitute teacher and then a Pre-K teacher for 10 years. The highlight of Mrs. Jennings' career has, of course, been working at Root as an I.A and Receptionist for the past 6 years!
Mrs. Jennings and her husband enjoy spending time with their 2 children, Lewis and Isla, as well as their hyper Border Collie, Theo! Whenever possible, they like to travel between beach, mountains, and Bonnie Scotland!

Jeremy Long, Building Substitute
Mr. Jeremy grew up in Swansboro, North Carolina. He studied at East Carolina University and obtained a BFA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Stage Management. He's worked at many theatres in the Raleigh area and is excited to bring his experience to share with students at Root. He plans to pursue a career in education while at Root with his fiancé's support. Mr. Jeremy is ecstatic to be a part of the Root family.
