Halloween

Students we are allowing you to dress up in costumes for Halloween. However, costumes must adhere to the WCPSS dress code. Additionally, students are not allowed to wear mask that covers their face of face paint at school. Thank you for adhering to the rules.

Teacher of the Year

Students, in the next few weeks Wakefield High School will be nominating candidates for teacher of the year. We would like your input in this process. There is no pre-registration or any fees.  Sophomores should be present on campus by 7:20 am. If students have an ACT approved Graphing Calculator, they should bring it with them, though all math problems can be solved without a calculator. Makeups will be administered November 16, 2022, in the media center at 7:30 am. Please email Amy Russell with questions (arrussell@wcpss.net).

Parent Canvas Use

Please follow the steps presented in the links below to become a Canvas Observer.  Canvas Observer allows parents to stay informed about what is happening in their child's classes. This link demonstrates how students can create a pairing code to share: https://wcpss.instructuremedia.com/embed/4a13aafa-e132-47dc-87d3-96f239369435
