Kingswood teachers are trained to provide an interdisciplinary approach by integrating science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in all Common Core State Standards through project-based learning. Our outdoor learning centers combine STEM concepts with Montessori based activities where students enjoy learning opportunities year round.
This time-honored educational approach offers a nurturing and supportive learning environment that develops the whole child, including social, emotional, academic, and physical needs. The curriculum is delivered using the Montessori philosophy, methods, and materials. Student-led Project-Based Learning allows students to gain knowledge and skills by investigating and responding to a complex question or challenge. Parents of students who are interested in our programs are encouraged to contact our Magnet Coordinator, Michelle Gensler. firstname.lastname@example.org
