    PSAT/NMSQT Interest Form

    If you are interested in registering for the PSAT given at AFHS, on January 26th, 2021; please click the link above.

    What is the PSAT? The PSAT is recommended for 10th/11th grades, the PSAT registration is usually for students in grades 8-11. 

    Sign up for the Interest Form above so that you will receive school specific registration details as they become available.

    It is recommended that the student has successfully taken the Math 1 course.

    Students that are interested in qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship should plan to take the PSAT their Junior Year.

    Ready to go to the DMV to get your permit?

    Drivers License DEC Forms for the DMV:

    Students are only eligible to receive a Driving Eligibility Certificate

    during this time if they have a confirmed appointment with the

    NC DMV within 30 days of the date of the request.

    Email Cmaxwell2@wcpss.net with a copy of your drivers ed certificiate and a

    copy of your DMV appointment date/time.

    Quick Glance at AFHS Standardized Tests


    The Pre-SAT 9th-11th Scheduled for January 26, 2021. Interested in getting more information about the PSAT as it becomes available? Fill out this google doc


    The Pre-ACT is usually provided to ALL Sophomores during the school day, typically in November.

    No registration is required for this test. Details TBD 


    One Free ACT will be given to ALL Junior's during the school day, typically in February. 

    No registration is required. Details TBD


    Any other standardized tests for the SAT/ACT that you are interested in sitting for, you must register on your own.
