      • There are plenty of reasons to get started early when planning for college or your career. Join experts from College Foundation of NC (CFNC) for tips and resources to support 9th & 10th grade students as they begin planning for the future. Topics will include college preparation & selection, career planning, earning scholarships, and more!

      • NC TAP is a four-year apprenticeship program that allows participants to attend community college for free, earn an AAS degree, while also receiving extensive paid training with a partner company.

      • Students taking AP classes during the Fall 2022 semester who wish to opt out of the AP exam must complete this form by Nov. 1 to avoid the $40 unused exam fee. No exceptions will be made for late requests.

      • Review the WTCC application and FAFSA processes - staff will be available to help students get started on their applications!
      • Learn more about the extensive offering of academic programs - faculty and staff available to meet with students and families.

    Week of Oct 3-7

    • US Service Academies - Virtual Information Session: Oct 3 (7-9pm)

    • CFNC Virtual Session - Apprenticeships & Trades Career Fair: 3:30-5:00pm

    • UNC System Virtual Open House
      • During the week of October 3, 2022, students will have the option of attending up to four virtual sessions, with each session offering information about various schools in the UNC-System. Current students from each university will share details about their college experience and answer questions live.

    Week of Sept 26-30

    • The CCP Spring 2023 Enrollment Cycle
      • The enrollment cycle begins on September 26th. Visit our CCP page for more details, including how to register for a CCP information session on October 4th during all three lunches.
    • Park Scholars Information Session - Friday, 9/30
      • Seniors interested in applying to be considered for North Carolina State University's Park Scholarship program are welcome to attend a session during their lunch to hear from both a former and current Park Scholar to learn more about the program and get tips on applying.
      • The sessions will take place during all three lunches on Friday, September 30th, in the Media Center. Please register for a session during your assigned lunch so you may receive a pass to attend. Students who have 3rd/4th Early Release should still complete the form and attend the A lunch session. The deadline to register is Thursday, Sept. 29th by 1:00p. You may only attend during your assigned lunch.
    • College visits - Friday, 9/30
      • Alabama, Appalachian State, South Carolina - all three lunches in the Performing Arts Lobby; no registration required
      • Queens University - all three lunches in the Media Center
