First TWO weeks of school calendar for 2020-2021
SENIORS...SAVE THE DATE:
On Thursday, August 20th, we will be having a Senior Kick-off activity.
In lieu of the senior parade, we will have a senior car-decorating contest from 9:00-12:00 in the AFHS carpool lane.
A faculty committee will judge the cars and the top three will receive prizes.
The first 200 students will receive an AFHS t-shirt.
Seniors will also have an opportunity to sign "the Rock".
We can't wait to welcome our senior back to school!
Parking Spots for the 2020-21 school year
At this time WCPSS is not offering parking spots.
Once WCPSS gives direction on high school parking we will update the website will the latest information.
Drivers License DEC Forms for the DMV:
Students are only eligible to receive a Driving Eligibility Certificate
during this time if they have a confirmed appointment with the
NC DMV within 30 days of the date of the request.
Email Cmaxwell2@wcpss.net with a copy of your drivers ed certificiate and a
copy of your DMV appointment date/time.
Quick Glance at AFHS Standardized Tests
The Pre-SAT 9th-11th is still currently scheduled for October 14th. Registration is required. When we receive information it will be updated on the main page of the website as well as on this announcements page.
The Pre-ACT is usually provided to ALL Sophomores during the school day, typically in November.
No registration is required for this test.
One Free ACT will be given to ALL Junior's during the school day, typically in February.
No registration is required.
Any other standardized tests for the SAT/ACT that you are interested in sitting for, you must register on your own.
