Winter Spirit Week

Winter Spirit Week is next week and below are the themes for each day. I encourage all staff and students to participate and show your school spirt.

• Monday 12/18 Puffer vs. Flannel

  • Wear a puffer jacket or flannel

• Tuesday 12/19- Holiday Card Picture

  • Wear an ugly holiday sweater and take a group pic

• Wednesday 12/20- Twas the Night Before Break

  • Wear your pjs

EOC Review

Mark your calendars for our January Saturday Academy dates. These opportunities are open to all students. January 6th, 13th and 20th are great opportunities for students to get prepared for final exams, which begin on Friday, January 12th.  On January 13th and 20th, students in EOC courses can participate in subject specific reviews. English II, Math I, Math III and Biology all have state EOC's. Students who are not proficient (80%) will be required to re-test at the end of the school year. Students will be able to register for these reviews in AllTimely the week of each offering. 

Wakefield Cheer

Wakefield Cheer has wrapped up their competition season. Varsity Cheer placed 2nd in the NCHSAA State Invitational then went on to win 1st place at the Wake County competition this past weekend. JV and Varsity also placed 2nd in the county for their Game Day routine. Congratulations on a great cheer season.
