This is Tripp Crayton, Principal at Wakefield High School, with your weekly announcement.

Wakefield High School's Senior Graduation Reception is Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the Commons Area, and we need underclassmen volunteers to help with preparation and serving at the event. This reception is one of the great traditions at Wakefield High School where the underclassmen parents serve the Senior families. If you would like to volunteer please email Alice Lynch at alicelynch@yahoo.com.

All School Awards will take place on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. Invitations will be sent home to parents of students who will receive an award.

Students of rising juniors and seniors will not be able to get a parking pass or off campus lunch pass for next year if they owe any fines or have any overdue books. Please take care of fines and return all books before leaving school in June.

The remaining portion of this message is for seniors and senior parents:

Please review our school website for information related to upcoming senior activities. You can also view the senior information sheet handed out to seniors on March 19th and other senior information. Don’t forget the mandatory senior class night will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2015. This is an outstanding event and tradition at Wakefield, and we look forward to our Class of 2015 candidates and parents participating. The following items are due by May 15th:
- Babysitting form for young children in case you need child care during Class Night.
- All scholarship/awards form listing all awards and offers you have received in order to be listed in the graduation program.
- All fines and fees paid in full.
Failure to pay all fines and fees on time will result in your graduation tickets and/or diploma being held, along with your potential graduate not walking across the stage on the day of the ceremony.
There are 178 seniors who still have fines. Please remember that all senior fines must be paid by May 15. Any senior who has not cleared their account will not be able to walk across the stage at graduation. The senior fine list will be updated and posted on the wall by the Media Center on May 7. All fines and fees must be paid by cash or money order only.

Jostens will be on campus for a final delivery day on Tuesday, May 12th in the commons area during lunch to deliver cap and gown units as well as other senior products. All items must be paid for in full before students can receive their products. Online payments must be made 24 hours prior to the delivery date. Cash or money order only will be accepted on the delivery date. If you still need to place an order, go to trianglegrad.com.

Remember it’s all about the W! Enjoy the rest of your day, and let’s have an amazing week. Goodbye.
