This is Tripp Crayton, Principal at Wakefield High School, with your weekly announcement.  Our Spring Exam Schedule has now been posted on our website.  Senior exams will begin on Tuesday, May 26th with underclassmen exams beginning Friday, May 29th.

The Wakefield Wolverine Club is accepting applications for the Wakefield Wolverine Club Scholarship Award. These six $500.00 scholarships are awarded to Senior Student Athletes that best exemplify the spirit of being a Wakefield Wolverine, in the classroom, on the field and in the community.

Application instructions can be found in Student Services and the deadline for application submission is Monday May 4th.

Wakefield Theatre Company is proud to present the production of "9 to 5".  Performance will take place April 29-May 2 at 7pm.  Tickets can be purchased at the door.

All 9-11 grade students received a course verification sheet this week. This lists all courses students signed up for next school year. It may also include teacher recommendations. Parents should discuss this with students, sign the sheet, and have students return the sheet to student services by Friday, May 1.

There will be AP Pre-administration sessions during 1st period on April 29 and 30.  Students will be called down by floor to complete this required information prior to AP tests.  As a reminder, AP testing will be held at Wakefield's 9th grade Center from May 4-15.

The Wakefield High School PTSA needs YOU!  We have several board and committee positions open for the coming school year.  With a membership of over 400 and a budget of over $50,000, we are proud to offer many programs that support our students, parents, and faculty.  Some positions require a year long commitment while others last only during the specific event.  Some key open positions are:  Membership Chair, Treasurer, Scholarship Committee Chair, Hospitality Chair, and Graduation Reception Coordinator. Jostens will be on campus for a final delivery day on Tuesday, May 12th in the commons area during lunch to deliver cap and gown units as well as other senior products.  All items must be paid for in full before students can receive their products.  Online payments must be made 24 hours prior to the delivery date.  Cash or money order only will be accepted on the delivery date.  If you still need to place an order, go to trianglegrad.com.
