Men’s LAX State Champions

Fine Arts News:
This Saturday, four Green Level art students received 2700 dollars in awards at the prestigious Fine Arts League of Cary Teen Show at Meredith College. Seniors Regan M. and Lia H. each won the Terry Prichard awards, sophomore Else M. won second place and sophomore Seojin L. won the Jerry's Artarama Managers award and first place. Because of these students' achievements Green Level High School Arts was awarded nearly 1,000 for art supplies.
Closing Down the Year Strong
AP exams are over and we need your help closing out the year on a strong note! Please ask your kids to show you their PowerSchool account so you can see their grades. We pulled data on Friday, and it was not pretty:

- GLHS PTSA General Membership Meeting will be held at 7 pm in the commons area (before the Band Concert). By the NCPTA bylaws, the Nominating Committee is presenting the following nominees to serve on the GLHS PTSA Board for the 24/25 school year. The slate will be voted on at the General Membership Meeting. Nominations will be accepted from the floor.

Attention Seniors
- Turn-In Day: All seniors must return their Chromebook, charger, library materials and English novels no later than May 28. Textbooks are now overdue and must be returned ASAP with the exception of Calculus. To ensure you receive Graduation tickets on Senior night, you must have everything turned in by May 28. Please encourage your Senior to set reminders in their phones to meet this deadline.
- Senior Signs: Senior yard signs are still available on the website! If you have already ordered, please remember to pick up your sign at the front office.

- Immunization Requirement: North Carolina law now requires all rising 12th graders to receive a meningococcal vaccine booster before starting 12th grade. The vaccination must be done before the 2024-25 school year begins. Parents will need to provide a copy of their child’s immunization record showing proof that the meningococcal vaccine has been completed prior to the first day of school. This is a 2-dose immunization; the 1st dose was required in the 7th grade in Wake County schools.
