Friday 11/20/20 Update
Dear Reedy Creek Families,
We've enjoyed having students in the building the last 4 weeks. Parents, I want to let you know that our students are doing remarkably well. They're wearing their masks, they are spacing away from each other in all areas of the building, and they are following teachers' directions well. It's great to see! Teachers are also doing great with teaching students everything about being in a very different and new school environment. To that end, we now have a Staff Shout-out link on the Reedy Creek website. Parents can send a special message out to a teacher or staff member to acknowledge them for making a positive impact on you or your child. The staff members are excited about receiving these messages!
Next week on Monday and Tuesday, schools will have State Asynchronous Days (Remote Learning). For us, these will be structured much the same as we have been doing, with students signing into their Morning meeting, attendance will be checked, and students will be provided with directions from their teacher on their Choice Board activities. Two of these activities, Dreambox (math) and Istation (reading), would be great choices if you're looking to continue your child's learning over the break.
We return from break on Monday, November 30th with 4th and 5th Graders in Cohort B and all K-3 students. Wednesday of that week, Dec. 2nd, will be a Remote Learning Day for all students.
I'd like to wish all of you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Stay safe and I hope you enjoy some quality time with your family. I'm thankful to all of our Reedy Creek families for your support of our staff and students.
