Meet the Team
Hi Reedy Creek families! I relocated to Cary in 2019 from Myrtle Beach, SC where I attended Coastal Carolina University and began teaching in a CCR classroom in 2016. I have a Bachelor's degree in Learning Disabilities and a Master's degree in Intellectual Disabilities. When I am not at school, I love reading, working out, and going to the beach (which I miss so much!). My goal is to create an environment of mutual respect, confidence, and academic, social, and functional growth. I am so excited to watch my students learn and grow this year!
My name is Caitlin Parker, and I joined the Reedy Creek family in 2017. I am passionate about working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder. I graduated from Appalachian State in 2014 with a BS in Special Education: Adapted Curriculum. When I am not at school, I love spending time with my fur children, and I have two cats and a corgi. During summer breaks, I love to scuba dive!

I have taught special education at the elementary and middle school levels in Wake, Guilford and Forsyth counties. I have taught in self-contained, resource and inclusion classroom settings. My passion and focus is teaching students with autism. In my spare time, I love to run, hike or kayak to spend as much time as possible outside.
