Math Intervention
eMail: jbrown9@wcpss.net
Hello there! My name is Josh Brown and I am now the math intervention teacher at Olive Chapel! I have been in education for over 15 years, and during the last five years, I was a 4th-grade teacher at OCE. I am overjoyed to continue working with the Olive Chapel faculty and community in this new role.
I am originally from Pennsylvania (Indiana, PA), so I am a big Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Much of my immediate family still lives in and around Pittsburgh, PA, although my mom has relocated to Tampa, Florida. I’ve been in North Carolina for over 10 years, and I absolutely love this state! I am so honored to serve the teachers, students, and families at our school, and I look forward to meeting you!

K-2 Literacy Coach and Instructional Facilitator

I am excited to be the K-2 Literacy Coach and Instructional Facilitator at Olive Chapel Elementary. I have been in education for more than 30 years and have loved supporting both students and staff with teaching and learning.
Our family moved a lot when I was growing up, so I have lived in Indiana, New York, Florida, and Minnesota. However, North Carolina has been my home for more than 35 years.
I have one married son who graduated from NC State and works for Amazon Web Services. I have two adorable grandsons, Luke and Logan, and an extra sweet Aussiedoodle named Frankie Lou!
I am truly glad to be part of the Olive Chapel Crew!

AIG Teacher
eMail: jmorgan8@wcpss.net
Hello! My name is Julie Morgan, and I am one of the AIG teachers at Olive Chapel Elementary. I am new to the school and coming from Chatham County Schools. I taught in the classroom for 18 years and I’m so excited about starting my second year of teaching AIG at Olive Chapel. I always knew I wanted to work with children, and I have definitely found my calling teaching AIG. My classroom is always a fun, exciting place. I love connecting with my students and having meaningful conversations. I also love challenging students and watching them learn!
Outside of school, I am a mother of three and a grandma (Gigi). My husband and I love to travel, and we also love to renovate and flip homes. We own a home on Oak Island, NC and love going to the beach as much as possible. I also love visiting new restaurants and going to food truck events. I am so excited to be at Olive Chapel and can't wait to start my journey here with you!
