Mrs. Lindstedt

This is my 6th year teaching Kindergarten at Kingswood. I grew up in Chapel Hill and attended North Carolina State University for Elementary Education. I was lucky enough to complete my student teaching at Kingswood and thrilled to join the team in 2015. I received my Montessori Teaching Diploma and I am currently working on my National Board Certification in Early-Middle Childhood Literacy. In 2016, I married my high school best friend, Robbey. We moved back to Raleigh over the summer and have loved exploring the trails behind our house. I also enjoy cooking, baking, and working on my green thumb :) I am so excited for this new chapter in teaching and the opportunity to spread some smiles and laughs, even remotely, with my sweet students <3

Mrs. McCaslin

I am Shelley McCaslin and I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten Virtual Academy this year at Kingswood so I am continually learning new things right along with all of you. I am beginning my 25th year as a teacher at Kingswood this year and have been truly blessed by my many roles here and the wonderful Kingswood students and families.
My husband and I are transitioning this year to our only daughter headed off to College at ECU. We have a dog at home who is not in charge of filling that void. I love to go on walks, spend time at the beach and the lake in the summer as well as decorate and shop. My favorite stores are Kirkland's, Target, Marshalls, Home Goods and T.J Maxx. -
Mrs. Winer

Hi! My name is Alicia Winer and this will be my 9th year at Kingswood. My husband Dan and I live in Garner with our cat, Sasha, and our goldendoodles, Penny and Parker! I adore my pups and talk about them ALL the time! The most exciting thing in my life currently is sweet little Nora, who was born in May and is my first child! She is so precious and I am loving motherhood! I’m from High Point and have lived in NC my entire life; there’s nowhere I’d rather be. I love to hike and go camping in the mountains. I also enjoy spoiling my dogs (they have a vast supply of personalized bandanas)! And of course one of my newest passions is spending as much time as possible with Nora and dressing her in the cutest outfits with huge bow headbands! I graduated from NC State with a degree in elementary education. At NC State I was apart of the Teaching Fellows program, the Scholars program, and I graduated as a valedictorian. In 2014 I received my Montessori Diploma. I love working with children and challenging them to reach their full potential, both academically and emotionally. Although this year will be different with remote learning, I can't wait to build relationships with each student and learn more about their shining personalities and interests. Teaching children is my pride and joy!

Primary Instructional Assistants
Mrs. Behm
cbehm2@wcpss.net
My name is Claudia Behm and I have been working at Kingswood since February of 2014. I use to work at the front desk which it was awesome because I got to know a lot of families and I was able to help out with the Spanish speaking families who needed assistance. Then I started working in a kindergarten classroom as Instructional Assistance and I loved it! It allowed me to nurture and support young students and see them grow and develop to their best potential. I'm originally form Guadalajara-Mexico and moved to the states in 2004 working for a technology company. I have 3 kids (12,10 and 16 months) and a wonderful husband. I love to exercise in my free time and share this love for fitness with my kids. I feel really lucky to be part of the Kingswood family and look forward to work for many years to come!
Mrs. McNeece
wmcneece@wcpss.net
I am an Instructional Assistant and have been a part of the Kingswood family for many years. I started as a PTA volunteer when my children, Samuel and Madison both attended Kingswood. When my daughter was in 5th grade (She is now almost 21) I started working in Kindergarten as an assistant. I have a degree in Communications and I have also worked as a floral designer for many years. I still enjoy arranging flowers and going to flea markets and antique stores.
