I am the Lead Secretary at Kingswood. I have been here since 2000. I started as a part-time Data Manager and moved into the role of Lead Secretary full time in 2005. I have 2 sons who both went to school here. I have 4 grandchildren, 3 of which have gone to school at Kingswood. I grew up in a suburb outside of Chicago, Illinois and moved to North Carolina in 1995. I love the beach, I consider this my happy place where I can go and not have any stress.

This year is my fifth year working at Kingswood. I have been happily married to an amazing husband for over 30 years.  We have two girls, Ashley and Jessica.  Both of our girls went to school here so we have been part of this amazing Kingswood family since 1998. It has been fun being back with good friends and making many new ones.

My journey with Kingswood began in January 2023, and it has been a joy ever since. I’ve shared 38 wonderful years with my husband, and together we raised three amazing children who thrived in the WCPSS system. Now, our five grandchildren are a daily reminder of the magic in life’s small moments.

Away from work, I cherish life's simple gifts: from quiet walks with my husband and our dogs, Ozzy and Hope, to feeding squirrels on the porch and watching and listening to the birds. In the summer, you’ll find me on the back of my husband's motorcycle, in the garden, or making memories with our grandchildren, from soaking up the sun at the beach to enjoying peaceful mountain getaways.

I am deeply committed to building strong, lasting connections with the incredible students and families at Kingswood. I feel so grateful to be part of this community, where every day is a chance to grow together.
