Dear Conn Magnet Elementary School Families, 

Lost and Found: Please encourage your child to check the lost and found for any missing coats or items. The lost and found is located under our yellow stairs. A large number of items have been collected. Items that are not claimed will be donated to charity during summer break. 

YMCA Before and After School: Are you interested in having your child(ren) participate in the YMCA program for the 2024 – 2025 school year? The YMCA Before and After School program is for families who need a structured childcare setting between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. (before school) and 3:45 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. (after school). For more information regarding pricing and other details, please check out their website.  

Morning Arrival: Please make sure all carpool students are not let out of cars in the carpool lane until 8:45 a.m. Many students are being let out early when staff members are not yet on duty. Students who walk to school should not arrive prior to 8:40 a.m. This becomes a safety concern for your child. Allowing students to be unsupervised during this time poses a safety and security issue for Conn Magnet Elementary. Thank you for your cooperation.

This will be my last message to the CONNmUNITY. Thank you for entrusting me over the last four years with your most precious gifts. It has been an honor and privilege to serve as your principal. I look forward to seeing the continued success and growth of our students and staff from afar.
