  • Summer Registration for Drivers Education

    Summer Registration for Drivers Education has begun. If you signed up for a class in the spring and did not get in, you will need to register again. Forms can be picked up in Student Services or printed from the Jordan Driving.com website. See Mr. Tharrington in room 2314 with any questions regarding Drivers Ed.

  • Athletic Scholarships

    Attention Wakefield Athletes: The Wakefield Wolverine Club is proud to offer four graduating senior student-athletes (2 male and 2 female) a one-time Scholarship in the amount of $1,000. In addition, a scholarship to both male and female athlete of the year. Please submit your application to Athletic Director office, attention Mr. Wolfe. Applications can be found in the front office and are due by Monday, May 6, 2019.

  • Dance Team Auditions

    Dance Team audition packets are available at the end of the school day April 9 and will be available all week in the front office or dance room. Anyone interested in dance team for next year must have a packet with all forms complete before the first audition April 25th.

    Juniors: WHS will be hosting a Rising Senior Parent Night on May 2nd at 6pm. Students & parents are encouraged to attend to learn the important information regarding your upcoming senior year graduation requirements, in addition to helpful post-graduation planning information.

  • Prom!

    Prom is just around the corner! The event will take place on April 27th at the Marriott in downtown Raleigh. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased through the school website. If you are bringing an outside date, please fill out an outside date form. These are located on the school's website and in the main office. These forms can be turned into Ms. Bentley in room 3214.

  • PTSA Scholarships

    All Seniors applying for PTSA scholarships for 2018-2019 school year are required to be a member of the PTSA by March 31, 2019. You can join online using the link on the Wakefield High School webpage to our PTSA website to join online. Forms are also in the front office and you can leave the completed forms with payment in the PTSA box. PTSA has extended the application deadline to April 26th.
