My name is Brittany Bedford, and I'm a 2nd grade teacher here at Sanford Creek Elementary.   
I am a NC native and went to NCSU (GO PACK!) where I got my teaching degree. I began teaching in 2008 and a few years later earned my Master’s degree in elementary education from ECU (Go Pirates!). After teaching 5th grade for 14 years in Raleigh, I made the move to Sanford Creek, where I started as an Instructional Assistant for 2 years. Last year, I started my first year teaching 2nd grade!  During this time, I have gotten to know so many amazing kids, including the ones joining me in 2nd grade.  

I live in Wake Forest with my husband, Sam, and our two boys, Deacon, who will be a 3rd grader here at Sanford Creek, and Miller, who is becoming a Blue Jay in Kindergarten this year! I enjoy spending time at the beach, at the baseball field, and having fun with family and friends.

I'm looking forward to another amazing school year!
