    Dear Sanford Creek Families,

“It is no longer a question of whether or not our world has changed. Indeed, it has, and we are working to adjust how we serve our families in providing teaching and learning, and to support opportunities to the degree these unprecedented circumstances allow.” ~ WCPSS

Thank you for your patience, understanding and support. We know that you have many questions surrounding your child’s learning through school closure and beyond.  We share your deep concern for their safety and well-being. Despite all the challenges our community faces with online instruction, our students deserve the right to continue learning.

Here is the most recent information sent to all WCPSS families : Family Letter, April 3 2020.

While away from campus, students and families should continue to access the Remote Learning Website. To view a list of learning resources to support your student, visit the visit the Learning Resources page.  We don't want schoolwork to be added stress, yet we also understand the importance of keeping students engaged, as well as appreciate the sense of normalcy learning and academic tasks can bring.

Teachers continue to develop and plan for personalized remote instruction and compile resources for ALL tracks and ALL classes, including preschool.  Sanford Creek will launch "Continuous Remote Learning" the week of April 13.  Expectations and Guidelines for Students and Families in Remote Learning can be found here.  In the coming week, grade level schedules and daily office hours (1 hour) for all teachers will be shared with SCE families.

Thank you for working with your child/children for continued learning and as always, we appreciate your patience and your partnership. We can all expect a few bumps along the way but although alone - we are together and are committed to ensuring ALL students have the opportunities that they need and deserve.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out directly to your child's teacher or me (trich@wcpss.net) or (919-570-2110).

Stay healthy, happy and safe (and 6 ft. apart).

    Take Care,

    Tiffany Rich
