Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. TaNeisha Winters
My name is TaNeisha Winters, and I have a son named Kaedyn. We moved to North Carolina in 2012 from Ohio. I graduate in 2009 from The University of Toledo with a B.A. in Speech-Language Pathology, where I also played volleyball. I have taught at various levels for 14 years, and I obtained my Masters of Arts in Teaching Special Education from North Carolina State University in 2017. I have a divine passion for teaching children who demonstrate the need for social, emotional, and behavioral guidance. My teaching philosophy stems from my belief that the meaning of life is surrounded by the efforts and thoughts that are glorified within the heart’s desire to make those around you shine. The richness in my own life has been magnified by the challenges, adversities, blessings, and people who I have encountered in life. The leadership that I am able to provide in my teaching encourages the children who I encounter to strive for greatness despite the adversities; this in turn will lead to their light shining so brightly that the imprint that I have left on them can be carried on in their educational and behavioral journeys throughout a lifetime!
