Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM)

  • The 2023-2024 Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) Window is now open.

Students may earn high school credit for specified courses under the state’s Credit by Demonstrated Mastery (CDM) option, uniquely qualified students may “test out” or bypass a course if they have already mastered the content. The program provides another opportunity for students to learn new content, to challenge themselves with the next level of rigor in a subject, and even graduate early. This option is not designed to replace existing accelerated pathways, such as the Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) program at WCPSS.

For students interested in learning more about this process, two Connectivity sessions will be held. Those dates are Friday, November 3rd and Wednesday, Nov. 14th (Location #2153) Please sign up using Alltimely. This presentation will also be shared via our school website for families to review with their student.

For more information and to access the student application, please visit bit.ly/CDM2024. Student applications are due to Ms. Ashley Clark, Assistant Principal of Instruction, by Friday, December 15th. No late applications will be accepted due to WCPSS deadlines.

For specific questions, please email cdmquestions@wcpss.net or Ms. Ashley Clark, Assistant Principal of Instruction at Green Level High School.
