Melissa Taylor - Orchestra
mtaylor4@wcpss.net Melissa Taylor is a native of North Carolina, and alumna of Wake County Public Schools. She was a member of the Triangle Youth Symphony and Triangle Youth Philharmonic. She received her Undergraduate and Master's degrees from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has also earned her National Board Certificate in Early and Middle Childhood/Music. Mrs. Taylor knew she wanted to be a teacher at a very young age, and couldn't imagine doing anything else! She started playing a stringed instrument at 7 years old, and loves having the opportunity to be her students' first orchestra teacher. She wants her students to be independent, lifelong musicians. When she is not at school, she enjoys gardening, sushi, being outdoors, and hanging out with her husband and two kids. Mrs. Taylor is grateful to be at an amazing school that nurtures all students' gifts and talents! "Make a joyful noise!"

Chad Oliver - Phys. Ed
Coach Chad began teaching Phys. Ed. in Henderson, NC in 2003. He started teaching at Hunter in 2006. He received his undergrad degree from Robert Morris University and his Master's in Education from Marietta College. He also received his National Board Certification in 2009. Coach Chad has two children, Kylie and Lucas. He enjoys playing all kinds of sports, especially biking and running. -
Emma Crumpler - Drama
ecrumpler@wcpss.net Ms. Crumpler is the Theatre Teacher for Hunter GT / AIG Magnet Elementary. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Ms. Crumpler lives and breathes theatre. She loves all aspects of theatre including teaching, performing, and directing. Her favorite place, other than the stage, is the beach and she always brings at least one play to read. Some of Ms. Crumpler's favorite plays and musicals are adaptions from classic books by authors like, Roald Dahl. If there is one thing that rivals Ms.Crumpler's love for theatre it is teaching. Ms. Crumpler looks forward to collaborating with students to create theatrical productions through electives like, Intro to the Stage, 3rd Grade Play, Theatre Production and many more.

Josh Masino - Phys. Ed.
jmasino@wcpss.net Coach Josh was born in Florida. He taught physical education in southwest Florida for five years. He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Criminal Justice. He then changed his focus to teaching. He worked at the YMCA of the Triangle for a year as a youth director and then started working at Hunter in 2014-2015 school year. He loves the format of Hunter and all the electives it has to offer. Coach Josh loves working with his Hunter staff. He loves introducing students to all of the unique activities in the gym. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, video games, watching TV shows/movies, and playing anything with his two children.

Megan Yohman - Chorus
Ms. Yohman currently serves as the choral director at Hunter GT/AIG Magnet Elementary.. She is a Raleigh native and a former Hunter student.
Ms. Yohman graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at UNCG, she was awarded the Presser Foundation Music Scholarship and was the recipient of the Barbara Bair Award for outstanding academic achievement in Music Education. Ms. Yohman began her teaching career as the music teacher at West View Elementary School in Johnston County. Her love for choral music and this community brought her to Hunter.
While at Hunter, Ms. Yohman has prepared students for participation in the Elementary All-County Honors Chorus, the North Carolina Elementary Honors Chorus, and the North Carolina Symphony's Children's Christmas Chorus. The Hunter Chorus has also had the opportunity to perform at PNC Arena, North Carolina State University, and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.
In addition to teaching elementary music, Ms. Yohman serves as Associate Conductor and Principal Accompanist for The Raleigh Boychoir.
