Mrs. Tanceusz currently serves as a Kindergarten teacher at Hunter. She has wanted to teach Kindergarten since she was in Kindergarten! Mrs. Tanceusz enjoys taking long walks with her dogs, shopping, and going to the movies. Her favorite subject to teach is Literacy. Mrs. Tanceusz loves teaching children to read!

Dr. Martinez serves as a Kindergarten teacher at Hunter. She began her time at Hunter as a parent and recalls feeling like her family had “won the lottery” when they received this assignment. The entire Martinez family is very grateful for their opportunities at Hunter, including the opportunity to learn from such a talented and dedicated staff. In fact, Dr. Martinez was so impressed by the staff that she decided to get back into the classroom herself. She has always enjoyed teaching Kindergarten, as it allows her to instill a love for learning and a growth mindset at an early age. Dr. Martinez also enjoys integrating technology with learning and teaching electives, such as Coding and Animals Studies. In her free time (what little there is with four active boys), she enjoys baseball, photography, interior design, and traveling.
