8/2: Social Media-discussions will be about the harms/dangers of social media, how to stay safe online, your online identity, and online friends
7/1, 7/3, & 6/1: Health Triangle Music Connections project. All students will be in groups of 2-3 and complete a project that connects music to health. Students will find songs and relate it to each side of the health triangle. This project will be completed in class and must be turned in on Google Classroom by the end of the week.
All classes will also discuss their 2nd quarter current event. This assignment is already posted on Google Classroom and can be completed at any time.

This week in fitness we will begin our 2nd quarter fitness tests. If the weather cooperates, we'll be outside for the 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, and mile. 6th grade will also do the 100m and long jump, weather permitting. If the weather is poor, we will stay indoors and complete shuttle run, push-ups, sit-ups, and sit-and-reach. Do your best to improve from your first quarter scores!

This week we welcome back track 1 and say goodbye to track 4!
This week we will have a flag football unit! Early in the week we will focus on skills, while later in the week we will have a flag football tournament!

This week in PE 1 we will play various kickball games, such as regular kickball, mat ball, speedball, and pinball. Friday this week is an early release. You will have PE this day, but you will not dress out. Please wear athletic clothing and shoes to school as we will still do physical activity that day.
