    Welcome back track 3 and enjoy your track out, track 2! This week we will be in health and all classes will be focusing on CPR.

     

    8/4:  This week you will learn hands only CPR. We will discuss the importance of learning CPR, how to properly perform CPR, you will also have time to practice CPR on the manikans. This is a graduation requirement, so you will also have to take a written CPR test, as well as perform CPR on the manikan for me without any guidance or assistance. 

     

    7/1, 7/3, 7/4, 6/4, & 6/1: This week you will learn the basics of hands only CPR. You will learn the proper steps for CPR as well as practice on the manikans and go through different emergency scenarios.

  • Fitness: February 5-10, 2018

    We have a very special week this week. We have an early release on Friday & Saturday School on Saturday for tracks 1, 2, & 3!!

     

    This week if the weather does not allow us to be outside, we will complete indoor fitness tests: sit-ups, push-ups, shuttle run, sit & reach. If we are able to get outside, we will do some of our running tests: 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile or mile run. If we are stuck inside all week, fitness games will be played towards the end of the week once indoor tests are done.

     

    Power Play: Power Play ends for tracks 1, 2, and 3 on Friday!! To earn a free Hurricanes ticket, you need to have logged 1200 minutes. Power Play continues through the end of February for track 4. Currently, 6/1 is in the lead for most participation and is in the lead for not having to complete a 4th quarter current event!!

  • PE 2: January 29-February 2, 2018

    This week we are in PE 2.  Monday we will run the 3rd quarter PACER test. The rest of the week we will learn another new game called Mat Madness and play it with Mr. Mauder's class in the gym.

    Welcome back after all the snow!! This week we are in PE 1. We'll be in the gym with Mr. Jones' class playing a new game, Jungle Ball!
